How to use JustSwap

Five things you can do — search, list, request, offer, and connect

Search for books

Open Search Books.
Filter by title, author, or category.
Results are sorted by distance from your area.
Tap a book to see holders, distance, and ratings.

Go to Search Books →

Submit a book for swap

Go to Submit a Book from your account menu.
Enter the title, author, and condition.
Add a photo of your copy.
Publish — your book appears in Search Books near you.

Open Book Requests.
Search for the title you want.
If nobody has requested it yet, post a new request.
Your name joins the list — holders can offer you a swap.

View Book Requests →

Send a swap request

Use this when the book is Available to Swap — someone near you has already listed it.

Find the book on Search Books.
Review the nearest holder’s distance, rating, and portfolio.
Tap Request Swap on the book page.
Pick a book from your portfolio to offer in return.
Arrange a meet-up or postage once they accept.

Say “I have this book”

Use this when the book is Book Requested — readers want it but nobody has listed a copy yet.

Find the title on Book Requests.
Check who has requested it and how far away they are.
Tap Offer Swap — list your copy first if it is not on your shelf yet.
Choose which requester to connect with.
Hand over your copy at the agreed meet-up or by post.
